Absolutely lovely from the first to the last bite and I stuck to the recipe totally. I made this for our dinner last night and my 14 year old daughter said "that was good, you can make that again" and my husband commented again this morning about how good this dish was. This is a keeper and I'm passing it on to my friends. I think this would make a great casual party supper dish with a large green salad.

DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!
My only note is that instead of frying them I place them on a lightly greased sheat pan and bake them at 400 degrees for 35 minutes and they come out great and much healthier. I use my handy dandy food processor to grate the onion which makes it much easier.

These meatballs are out of this world delicious! I didn't have all the ingredients so I tweaked it just a bit and they still came out amazing. I ran out of dried bread crumbs so I soaked two pieces of whole wheat bread w/o crust in 1/4 c of milk then added it with the rest of the ingredients and a tiny dash of wortershire sauce. Did not have romano so i only used parmigianno regg. I made my own sauce w/ San Marzano whole peelled tomato and oh boy i did not miss the beef meatballs at all. This tasted even better actually. I think I will only make turkey meatballs from now on. Giada is the bestest!! I love her & her cooking style!

Everyone in my family loved these meatballs. It's all I use now whenever we need meatballs for a recipe. I didn't make the sauce. But will try it one of these days. Thanks Giada!

I was looking for a healthier meatball to make for my family that still had a lot of flavor and I hit the jackpot with Giada's recipe! My whole family loved them which includes my picky husband and our two picky kids 2 and 4. Everyone was asking for more. They were so moist and tasty. The only thing I did differently was I added a 1/4 cup of spinach puree as I am always trying to sneak in vegetables for my kids. I didn't tell them and they never knew. I also baked them in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes (I made my meatballs the size of golf balls so I didn't have to cook them in the oil. They came out perfect. Thanks Giada!

I must have used too a little too much salt but the meatballs turned out well. I added more cheese than breadcrumbs since I am a low carber. I did not make the sauce. I eat my meatballs as is. No sauce was needed.

I have tried various meatball recipes before, but these were the best I have ever made! I omitted the Pecorino Romano since I did not have any. I did tweak the recipe and they came out great!

but these were soo good! Even my picky eaters liked them!!! Yaayy a healthy meal! The only changes I made were to add oregano instead of parsley and 2 or 3 dashes of hot sauce. I doubled the recipe and only have a few left. Keep them small because I made them alittle bigger then golf balls and they were very soft. I fried them till crispy on the outside then put them in the sauce to cook all the way through. You will not miss the beef. I promise! Manga!
