    I have tried various meatball recipes before, but these were the best I have ever made! I omitted the Pecorino Romano since I did not have any. I did tweak the recipe and they came out great!

    but these were soo good! Even my picky eaters liked them!!! Yaayy a healthy meal! The only changes I made were to add oregano instead of parsley and 2 or 3 dashes of hot sauce. I doubled the recipe and only have a few left. Keep them small because I made them alittle bigger then golf balls and they were very soft. I fried them till crispy on the outside then put them in the sauce to cook all the way through. You will not miss the beef. I promise! Manga!

    I can't comment on the sauce, but I'm sure it's incredible. I cheated and used a good quality jarred sauce. Everything I've ever made from Giada has been better than good. 3 of my favorite meals to make are based off her recipes. Instead of using dark turkey meat, I used ground chicken breast. I also used all Parmesan (the real stuff! instead of the combo. Believe it or not, even with the meat being so lean, these were the juiciest meatballs I've ever had. Definitely a keeper!!

    Since becoming pregnant, I've grown this HUGE meat aversion (mostly beef. I was looking for a turkey alternative for spaghetti and meatballs and this recipe completely hit the spot. My husband absolutely LOVED these turkey meatballs. He loved them even more when he found out it was Giada's recipe (he thinks she's super hot. ;

    The only substitutions I made - since it's just me and hubs - I halved the recipe. I omitted the onions, since husband isn't a fan and I didn't have any on-hand. I used 1.5 tbsp of egg whites in lieu of a whole egg, and I used 1/4 cup of parm (no romano. They turned out fabulous. This is definitely going into our "rotation."

    Thanks, Giada!!

    I am not a very seasoned cook and these were so easy for me and they come out perfect everytime! I made them for my boyfriend (a super picky eaterwithout telling him that I had never done it and really didn't know what I was doing and he loved them and never knew it was my first time! This is one of his favorites dishes and asks for it all the time. Plus it is quick and pretty easy on the budget, always nice.

    I have to say, these are some of the best meatballs I have ever tasted. Thank you Giada! I look like the best cook ever!

    I used just parmesan cheese, as I didn't have the other cheese. I also cooked the onions first in olive oil.

    If you want to take this to an entirely new level, add 2-3 tbs of MINT. Holy Moly Mama! They taste like a Greek feast this way.

    These are sooooo good! Mine didn't fall apart but I was very gentle with them. I used tongs to turn them and used a large enough pan so that they did not touch. I did have to substitute dried parsley for the fresh but other than that, I followed the recipe. Very yummy!

    I don't like spagetti & meatballs but it's my husband's favorite dish so I tried this recipe. Although there are 2 minor issues, it is still a fantastic dish. One issue is the frying of the meatballs. Like another reviewer, I will try baking them next time. The other issue is that they do fall apart easily. I don't mind so much though - it becomes a meatball/meat sauce dish. All in all, not only do I love it but my 3 picky sons and husband do too. It has been added to the weekly menu!

    I suggest adding extra bread crumbs. My meat balls fell apart when cooking them. I made meat sauce out of it. Still tasted good with pasta, but not the original intent.

    My family just loves these meatballs. I do sautee the onion and garlic in a bit of olive oil, add some italian seasoning and use white meat ground turkey, other than that all is the same. I make regular size balls instead of mini. WE LOVE THEM! Thanks, Giada.
