I watched a re-run of the show this morning while surfing the TV. It seemed very tasty and easy to make. Went out and bought the ingredients. Made it in the afternoon in anticipation for dinner.
The meatballs came out wonderful. Like the other reviewers said, they were tasty and very moist. I had the same problem of the meatballs staying whole (a few fell a bit apart when I moved them around in the sauce. I am not sure how to remedy the situation, maybe a bit more breadcrumbs next time....
I also made the simple tomato sauce (I have seen this done in another episode and have been making this sauce for awhile now, it's really great. Definitely try this recipe for an easy meatball recipe. A keeper!

These are so flavorful...they may be the most flavorful meatballs you've ever tasted. We loved them!

These meatballs are really tasty - the only thing that's different about them is that they are very soft and fell apart easily while cooking. Perhaps the addition of another egg or more breadcrumbs may eliminate this going forward. They taste great, though!

This recipe makes the best homemade meatballs...the trick is definately grating the onions. Thank you!

I made these and they were just ok, and I thought the next day they would be great - but again, I thought just ok. I even made her sauce. I won't make these again, I didn't even like the way they smelled when cooking - I did bake them b/c of all the reviews when frying. Maybe that was the problem.

I know my Italian grandma is rolling in her grave right now, but these were outstanding. Perfectly moist with a ton of delicious flavoring. Giada's sauce is the perfect complement. Just be a little careful with the browning, I think the cheese and ketchup makes them brown really dark much faster. This is a keeper and I will use it for regular spaghetti and meatballs from now on. Love that girl Giada! Never a bad recipe from her yet.

They were very good but the recipe yields a lot and they were a little time consuming. But-delicious to consume!

I'm all for adding flavour and texture, but I found the meatballs too sticking when rolling, and the final flavour was too overpowering.
The tomato sauce is great, and I will continue to use that recipe, but the meatballs, well, my husband has decided that the recipe for the balls will go in the "not to make again" pile.
