I made this and love it, except it is pretty runny and didn't thicken. Should I use less maple syrup next time? Does FN read these and give feedback? I'd like to make it again but don't want to use as gifts if it doesn't thicken.

Love the recipe!!! This is a god way to use my thyme from my garden. I can't wait to try it with other fruit!! One question though..., how long does this stay good for in the refrigerator???

Yum, had to change a bit though I only had frozen berries and pineapple and grapefruit juice but I think it is foolproof cause it all turned out great. I love the taste of fresh thyme in this. I had the mixture going on high for a bit and then turned it down lower. Love to use as "frosting" for cake.

would like to know what else you can use instead of pure maple syrup, like corn syrup or regular maple syrup

It looked soooo tasty on the show and so I had to try it. I followed the directions as written but didn't like it. The maple syrup didn't do it for me. Sorry Giada!

Good jam; I used strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. I was a little shy on the thyme. Mine didn't get real thick either but it was good. Maybe a higher heat next time?

This jam is delicious but mine never thickened, even after sitting for 1-1/2 hours. I heated it again for another hour and the liquid evaporated, but the jam is still rather thin. What could I have done wrong?

YUMMY!!! So easy. Just be sure to stir especially toward the end of the cook time. Will definitely be making this again.
