This was a great salad and very easy to make. I also used the sheep feta and it was wonderful. I left the pitted kalamata olives whole and that worked fine. The dressing was easy to make and very, very good. Thanks Giada!

I OFTEN FIND SALAD DRESSINGS ON THE BLAND SIDE (NOT ENOUGH ACIDITY. THIS ONE HAS A NICE BITE TO IT WITHOUT BEING TOO HEAVY ON THE VINEGAR. I USED A SHEEP FETA WHICH GAVE ANOTHER LAYER OF BRIGHTNESS. I'LL BE USING THIS RECIPE REGULARLY.

This salad turned out great! I almost didn't make it, but decided to go for it while the pasta was finishing. I liked this even better than the pasta! I used red wine vinegar instead of sherry vinegar. Also, I did not use the red pepper. Excellent!
