This is a great recipe. I prepare this using 7" foccacias from Panera. I prepare them on Fri am for the weekend. This makes a great snack to have on hand. Also I use the vinaigrette as a delicious salad dressing.

I loved this. I'm not a fan of sandwiches, but this was devine. I tried it twice. The first time it fell apart. The second I had it in the fridge longer and wrapped tighter in plastic wrap. It was wonderful. Practice makes perfect. Lovely. Will make this for my grown up children.

I love this sandwich! The flavors in the olive spread were divine - I don't care for deli ham, so I substituted hot soppressata - soooo good, easy to pack up and take anywhere!

Giada has hit the jackpot again. These sandwiches are SUPER yummy and so easy to fix. From start to finish 5 minutes and that includes taking things out of the fridge. What really makes the sandwich is the dressing. I swapped out some of the lunch meat for kinds that I prefer better (summer sausage instead of salami for example and it was still great. This is a sandwich that will become a regular at our dinner table. BTW....if you live near A Panera Bread their bread soup bowls are perfect for these sandwiches!

Great to make and made a name for ourselves among our group! No more peanut butter sandwiches - we are known as the couple who brought "THE sandwich"!
