    This was my first attempt at risotto. The recipe was easy to follow but obvioulsy time consuming. Afterall, it is risotto! I've tried several of Giada's recipes and have never been disappointed. Note to Food Network: More Giada!

    Typically I've found that Giada's recipes are somewhat complicated for me but this one, although it did have multiple steps, was absolutely delicious.

    I loved how rich and creamy it was. My entire family enjoyed it and I look forward to using the left overs for the fried mozzerella balls. I did not however,enjoy having to constantly watch it by the adding of the broth (busy with kid's and such...
    But it was worth waiting for!

    It's the perfect food for a rainy or cold day, but it takes a while to make so be prepared to spend some time in the kitchen.

    Easy and flavorfull. Be careful on pairing. Depending on your mushroom taste this can be quite powerful.

    This is my first risotto attempt and it came out perfect. The combination of mushrooms resulted in a very nice taste. The consistency was just right. I think the cheese made the perfect final touch.
