I made this for dinner for my boyfriend and family. It turned out really delicious. I made a couple of adjustments throughout the recipe. I left out the eggplant, basil, cannelini beans and calamari. I sliced cherry tomatoes into the salad and added extra shrimp. The lemon juice really made a delicious light dressing with the dash of extra virgin olive oil (instead of the amount called for. I used spinach leaves instead of the arugala. This was the perfect amount for my family and everybody enjoyed it! Yay, success in the kitchen. My dad, who isn't open to trying new things, even said I could make dinner more often.

    TO alyssa FROM hoabart, IN:
Why don't you focus on what Giada is cooking, rather than on what she is wearing? Not only she is pretty, but she has tremendous cooking talent. Let me guess...you weigh about 500 pounds, hate life, and never had a date...PS: you mispell words which also makes you uneducated....

giada, you really "reveal" your self to much. To where it bothers me to watch you!

This was really easy, and sooo wonderful! I don't like arugula, so I just used baby spinach. great for potluck too since this will feed plenty of folks! :

and this dish is too! I love seafood, so I added scallops as well and was fortunate enough to have leftoevers. This dish just gets better the longer it sits. My husband and 8-year old
    daughter agree!

Loved this salad! It was definitely better after sitting for a day...even two. My husband was amazed at the combo of flavors. Fabulous in the summertime with a glass of Pinot Grigio!!

I want to make this recipe a couple of days ahead of time for a wedding reception. One user said it tastes even better after a day or two. Has this been anyone else's experience? (The first time I made it, it was gone after the first day, so I didn't know if it was just as good the second or third day.

This is an easy and versatile dish. It will be great with any kind of grilled seafood. And it is light and SO flavorful! Wonderful leftover.
As to Giada's outfits... oh shame on you to criticize her! She is a beautiful woman and it doesn't matter what she wears, there still will be others who envy her looks. But we are all about food here, not chef's clothing...
