I used frozen blueberries since I could not find fresh ones. Amaretti cookies can be found at an Italian speciality shops. Made this for a dinner party. Everyone loved it!

This was very good. I used frozen blueberries (thawed as it's January so fresh is too expensive. I also doubled the amout of berries to 16 oz. I did not have any amaretto so I substituted one teaspoon of almond extract. I plan on making it again using the amaretto.

This is a great and easy way to treat guests to a warm, fruity delight! I used bordeaux cookies instead of amarretti and it still was FABULOUS!

This dish is so easy and was a big hit at a party. Serve it warm with vanilla ice cream! (It's not as good cold.

Due to lack of seasonal nectarines, I used rome apples and added raspberries with the blueberries. Couldn't find amaretti cookies so I used almond biscotti. It was a true crowd pleaser and I will definately make it again!
