Very aromatic, with different highlights of flavor from the almond extract and lemon zest. Light and fluffy inside, but the sugar sprinkled tops are the best!

a wonderful fresh taste! I'm allergic to almonds but they weren't needed, the extract added the right amount of flavor

My only disappointment that I halved the recipe and we only have 6 biscuits. These are moist and very tasty. We love lemon in our family so these were a hit with us.

these are so easy to make and the taste is so delightful. Not an overly sweet biscut. Nice

oh my heavens! these muffins have made me a star to my husband and friends. my mother can't wait until i make her a batch - she lives 150 miles away - but i'm due for a visit, and we talk and try new recipes and laugh like two kids. she's a wonderful cook but she likes my cooking also. (that's because i cook like her these muffins were a+++++++ as are all of your recipes. sometimes i feel like i'm sitting in my grandma's kitchen when i watch your show. she loved to teach me tricks and all of her basic recipes. thanks so much for your show, i wish it was on for hours every day! YOU ARE THE BEST!!! FROM A VERY DEVOTED WATCHER. JANET MATLOCK

I only had a little bit of sugar, whole wheat flour, and low-fat ricotta in the house so I used what I had and substituted Splenda for half of the sugar. These are delicious. Something about the flavor is so unique and just yummy.

Yummy, moist muffins. Recipes from "Everyday Italian" seem to fit our likes and lifestyle more than recipes from any other Food Network show.

I made these for my family with splinda, and they couldn't stop eating them. They only last about 5 minutes!
