I know it says biscuits but these are more like muffins in texture to me, don't let the name fool you. Anyway these are the best things ever, they have made it into my "it's a keeper" receipe box. My daughter loves them, tender and light, so very rich with flavor. A must try!

These are delicious and were a hit in my Christmas gift baskets. To stretch the yield, I made these in mini-muffin cups. They came out great and looked right at home among the other baked goodies in the baskets.

This recipe was good. Not fabulous. But I did like the sauce, dipping the sourdough bread in the marsala sauce was nice.

I added lavender buds (about 1 tsp or so to take it up a notch, lavender and lemon go so well together and then I baked the muffin-cakes in mini-muffin tins (using Baker's Joy, no liners and they came out great! Mini-muffins are so wonderful for a potluck because people usually only have room for a bite of each dessert anyway. I also made Giada's Caponata for tonight's potluck as well-- another great recipe. Happy baking!

These muffins are delicious. It was a little hard getting the mix in the muffin papers.

These are great!!!!!!!!Think I will add more lemon and lemon zest next time. I used egg beaters and they turned out fine. I had to bake them a little longer than 20 minutes but it was a very humid day. Maybe that was the problem
