This is my go to oatmeal cookie. I always double the recipe because as soon as I put them out they are devoured!

I needed to provide a "healthy snack" for my children for this week of testing. I was originally looking for healthy bars. I doubled the batch, changed the chunks to chips, and spread it in a pan to cook. Once done, I cut them into bars. They are a hit! (with us too! I will definitely cook these again and experiment with contents just as others have done.

Very yummy, I did double it and used 3 eggs to make them more moist. do not over bake or they will be dry. I legt mine in for 13-14 minutes.

I've made these cookies about 6 times now and love them. I've found my favorite way is to make them smaller, about an inch and a half when they've baked (I get about 30 cookies per batch and bake them for 8-9 minutes. This way I get more cookies to spread the love. I have made them without craisins, with dried pomegranate, with chocolate chips instead of chunks - basically they are a great canvas for whatever you've got to work with! The next couple times I'm planning on using dried cherries (so good with dark chocolate and maybe walnuts to go with the cranberries. These always receive good reviews with whoever I share with!

These cookies are wonderful! I doubled the recipe and made enough for my nieces whole class who also loved them. I used almond bark (vanilla in place of the chocolate, then I melted it
and drizzled it with a fork over the cookies and let set. Delicious!!!

    So. Good.
I doubled the recipe and it made about 5 dozen cookies! They were much smaller than the recipe said, about small-to-medium sized ball. Still came out a great size.
Lots of flavor, excellent oatmeal-chocolate-cranberry ratio!
    Yummy!

These cookies are great! For the reviews saying it's dry, I'm pretty sure I know why. I made 3 batches and the second batch came out dry...why? Because I didn't pack the 1/2cup of brown sugar. The 3rd batch I made sure the brown sugar was packed in and even added a little bit more than the recipe called for and those cookies turned out DELICIOUS!! This is a great recipe for those who just like simple cookies cuz I just added the chocolate chips and left out the cranberries and boy, those cookies were good. Awesome recipe G!!

I recently saw this episode and HAD to try them, my one niece is a dried cranberry addict and the other is a chocoholic and I love oatmeal cookies (but hate that everyone uses rasins so these are the PERFECT fit! I made them to recipe the first time except that I didn't have a 4oz scoop so I used a 1/4 cup measuring cup instead (I like big cookies it made about 10-12 cookies. I have a convection oven and left the temperature at 350, they took about 30 minutes at this size. They came out slightly crisp (not burned on the outside and tender on the inside! The girls went wild and they were gone in 2 days. We decided to make a double batch, I bought a bulk bag of the recomended chocolate chips instead of the chocolate bar and put almonds in one of the batches - super good! I like the chips better! Needless to say these cookies are now a staple in my "cookie jar" and has won the hearts of my teenage nieces!
