I substituted the chocolate with white chocolate and added the zest of an orange. The orange was a great compliment to the cranberries and the white chocolate gave it all a creamy feel. This recipe is an excellent oatmeal cookie base!

These are delicious. I am not the biggest fan of cinnamon, so next time I might reduce it, but they came out great.

I made these cookies today and they are delicious! I used hershey's dark chocolate chips instead of the chunks and made the cookies smaller. They turned out great. I baked about 30 of them for 14 minutes in the oven. Thanks so much for a great recipe! Looking forward to making these again in Christmas :

Was looking for a healthy bar recipe so I took this one and added to it. Used soft whole wheat flour, extra-virgin coconut oil in place of butter, 1/2 c raw honey in place of sugar, added some ginger per my daughter's request (next time I might try pumpkin pie spice, and raisins instead of cranberries. Would like a bit more protein and can't do nuts, so added some chia seeds. Baked in an 8x10 pan. They came out great. Flavor is more like an oatmeal cookie than a granola bar, which is what I wanted. My only complaint is that they are a little crumbly. Maybe I'll add another egg next time?

Fantastic! I exchanged raisins for cranberries, used only brown sugar and made bars. Absolutely fantastic!

I finally made these cookies! I followed the recipe exactly, except for adding just a few less cranberries and a few more chocolate chips ((Ghirardelli bittersweet. When I was scooping them out, I kept thinking, "Oh, these are going to be way, way to big." But I continued to follow the recipe, trusting Giada as I do, and the results were perfection! They are a perfect portion for a dessert, and everyone commented on their generous size being so much better than coming back repeaatedly for more. The texture was just right, firm but chewy. They would also make a lavish dinner dessert on a plate with a scpp[ pf vamo;;a oce crea, amd kist a ;ogjt garmosj pf cjpcp;ate suri[ on top and on the plate. Thank you once more, Giada!

These cookies are honestly one of the best if not the best I have had in my life! The combination of the sweet yet tart cranberries with the bittersweet chocolate is heavenly! Everyone who has tried these had rave reviews. Another wonderful Giada recipe!
