Snow day today (I'm a teacher and I was climbing the walls! I was dying for some kind of sweets but didn't have any in the house. Saw Giada making these and realized I had most of the ingredients (that doesn't usually happen!. I used dried cherries instead of cranberries and chocolate "flavored" chips. Even with the imitation chips, these cookies were awesome!!! So easy to make, very quick, and not complicated. Brightened up my "blah" day. Will definitely make again and again!! Thanks Giada!!

Fabulous! Absolutely Fabulous. I made these with dried cherries instead of cranberries as well. Equally good. Now one of my favorite cookie recipes.

I made the recipe exactly and they are the best cookies I've ever made! The texture and taste- just amazing. A very easy recipe, too.

Those cookies are just great! I used dark brown sugar instead light, and only 1/4 cup of regular sugar. I also used fresh cranberries (1 cup instead of dry and just baked the cookies longer, app. 20 minutes. just ate two of them :

This was a great, simple, recipe to make. I am lazy and used Ghiardelli chocolate chips instead of chopping up bars. Still tasted great :

Good cookies and great change from regular chocolate chip. My daughter and I thought they were pretty good. My husband was so-so on the cookies because of the dried cranberries but I think they were a nice compliment if your using dark, dark chocolate.
