I love Giada's recipes usually but this one was not good, sorry.

This is a great recipe! I made it with raspberry preserves instead of orange maramalade and it was a huge hit. (Also, I tried both the Pilsbury and Nestle cookie dough and preferred the Nestle- it tasted less generic

I made these cookies over the Halloween holiday, so the colors worked out great. However, I'm not big on the flavors...I'm going to try this again "my style"...thinking of cooking the dough less, using strawberry preserves, & drizzling white chocolate on top..skipping all nuts!...considering crumbling up a nestle crunch bar on top as well. The possibilities are endless...

These are really easy and delicious. I'm going to try some variations using raspberry preserves, too. My family went gaga over them, and when my sister took some to work, they all wanted the recipe. I made sure to let them know where I got the recipe! I found I had to bake the cookie dough for a little shorter time, but that may be my oven.

this was a big hit! the only thing i changed (and i always change something was that i put the whole jar of orange marmalade on the cookie crust. I used all three nuts, the hazelnuts, walnuts, and the almonds that i toasted first. My guests couldn't believe how easy this dish was to prepare. thanks for making me look good.

I used Apricot/Pineapple preserves instead and they were good. I used an airbake cookie sheet and it did take almost 25 minutes to get done. Very easy to make, great for a party.

I loved the concept, but I burned the heck out of the cookie dough - and I had checked it at 20 min and it was smoking and charred! I probably would've set it on fire if I had left it for the full 25 minutes!

I'll try it again, and this time I'll only bake it for 12 - 15 min. Maybe it was the Pillsbury dough? Anyone have better luck with a different brand?
