We took the square to our church fellowship dinner last night and came home with an empty dish. And that is a good thing!!

Since my son is allergic to almonds, I made this with peanuts and raisins and it was delicious.

i tried to make these squares. they looked so easy and good on the show. i followed all the directions but the dough stuck to the pan and was raw in the middle. something wasn't right.

Very easy to make, such a simple desert. Very easy for kids to make, too!

These are so simple to make and it is one of those desserts that seems fancier and looks like it takes more time than it really does. It was a hit. I made it on a pizza stone and used pecans. It was really good. Might try the rasberry suggestion for next time though.

they come out just as tasty!
I had to replace the marmalade with strawberry jam, as well as the nuts with peanuts (toasted and chopped. I discovered that I 1 1/2 cups of nuts is TOO much, and chopping peanuts with just a knife wasn't cutting it! Other than that, my friends absolutely loved them!
