Okay so I wasn't sure about orange marmalade due to the rind and I'm still not sure but I do like the orange chocolate combo I tried what was left over on the spoon with a little of the left over chocolate. I used a 9x13 pan but it seemed like there were way more toppings than I needed with the exception of the jam (that was perfect. I did find that the cookie dough puffed up more than expected and took way longer than 25 minutes to cook through.

For everyone that had a problem with "non-drizzling" chocolate, chocolate chips are made to hold their shape. Try using bar chocolate, it melts better and should make drizzling MUCH easier.

melt your chocolate in the top of a double boiler. add a bit of shortening to the chips to help smooth it out for drizzling. don't let water or steam get to the cholocate or it will seize up and will not be usable. I made the orange / nut square recipe in a 10" round tart pan with removable bottom. used about 2/3 of the roll of dough; baked approx 18 minutes. perfect.

I made this w/ Raspberry preserves rather than orange marmalade.
Had to think chocolate w/ milk.
Disappointed. Did not turn out good. Flavors did not go together.

I made these cookies for a baby-shower I hosted and everyone there really loved them. I made two batched, the mommy to be was not found of marmalade and chocolate, so I made a batch of raspberries and white chocolate, as well. Those were the first to go. However, to be fair, if you like the taste of marmalade, then stick will the original recipe...if not change to any type of jam you like.

My Mom made these cookie bars, but did it from her memory, which she left off the marmalade, and used the heat of the out of the oven heat to melt choc chips on top of the cookie dough, then sprinkled with chopped nuts. It was very good. We will try it with the marmalade next time!
    Thanks

The crust was too dry and was cooked as directed (light golden color. I did try rasberry on half and liked it better than the orange.

I made this with the flavors in the recipe and loved it. It would also be great with other combos as well. I did need to bake the dough for less time. These get better and better the longer they sit!

I thought these were great & easy (and i made my own cookie dough. They are great with peanut butter or strawberry jam!I just made them for a bake sale & i cut them in triangles in order to get more & they look really pretty cut that way! Also i had no problem with the cookie becoming overdone or drizzling the chocolate...went smooth & easy for me!
