The chicken meatballs were very good, but they were the only part of the dish with any flavor. This one is a recipe that won't be used again by my family.

Tried this recipe after watching Giada make it the other day. It was tasty but nothing too spectacular. I used turkey instead of chicken for the meatballs. A pound of pasta seemed like a lot for the amount of sauce - might want to either make less pasta or more sauce. I did like the sauce as an alternative to a heavier marinara sauce. Took a while to prepare because I had to make the meatballs in 3 separate batches due to the size of my pan; I also had to transfer the meatball mixture to a bigger pan when making the sauce (just used the pot that the pasta cooked in so as not to get another pan dirty.

I really enjoyed this recipe even though I had to alter some of the ingredients - I used a penne pasta and turkey instead of ground chicken for the meatballs. It still turned out really well and my kids liked it a lot -the more mild flavors are much better for little children especially.

I saw Giada make this recipe and had to try it. It was so easy (just what I need right now with 3 small children and came out wonderful. I had made it in steps throughout the day and needed to refrigerate the meatballs till dinner time. I just reheated them in a little chicken stock and put everything together. The meatballs were very tender and just melted in our mouths. Everyone enjoyed them - even my 8 month old!!

My husband and son said these were the best meatballs they have ever had! Even my picky daughter ate a couple. No one was thrilled with the rest of the dish so I'll make the meatballs with spaghetti next time.

I tried this recipe 2 nights ago and it's wonderful! Great flavor with the fresh basil on top. I picked it from my herb garden :

This recipe was easy, fast, and everyone liked it, even my 5 year old daughter who loves watching Giada but is usually less than enthusiastic when it comes to eating!

My husband loved this dish and he asked me to put it in our menu selection as a regular. The fresh ingredients are so light and the meatballs are juicy and full of flavor (I used ground pork.

really delicious and easy. The market was out of ground chicken so I used chicken sausage...just removed the casings...the only difference was that there was added salt and pepper...my husband ate 4 dishes.
    I would make this again.

I was very pleased with this recipe! I did change it a little since I'm watching my calories. I used a half a cup of Romano in the meatballs, seasoned breadcrumbs and omitted the mozzerella (this was very sad. But it still was really good!
