My family (all adults loved this recipe. The meatballs and sauce were a welcome change from pork/beef meatballs and red sauce.
I did spice the meatballs up a bit by adding onion and garlic.
This will go into the family favorite recipe box.

Since I was making this dish for adults, I made changes in an attempt to increase its flavor (especially since during the program, Giada had mentioned the dish would have a milder flavor to suit kids' tastes. I started by using Italian bread crumbs in the meatball mix, which I toasted in a frying pan first. I also added a splash of red wine along with the chicken stock. Lastly, I added the tomatoes AFTER simmering the meatballs and chicken stock to preserve their shape and texture, and added some more bread crumbs to thicken the sauce a little bit.
A good pasta dish for the summer--filling and satisfying, but with an appropriately light sauce.

This dish was very good. The chicken meatballs were so tender. The only problem I had was that I could not find the orecchiette pasta. I will make this again for sure!!
