so fast and easy. I doubled the recipe and added 4 cloves of minced garlic with red pepper flakes (sauteed first. I used a prepackaged mixed greens salad mix (romaine, raddichio and tango. loved it.

I used campanelle pasta and blanched broccoli rabe in place of the greens. Followed the recipe for everything else and it was really GREAT!. I served it as a side dish with breaded chicken cutlets for an easy week-night dinner. Simple to make! I can't wait to serve this for dinner with friends.,

This recipe is one of my favorite go to recipes when I've had a long day. It's ready in no time flat and takes virtually no prep time. I get home, put a pot of water on to boil, and by the time I've changed out of my work-wear, it's boiling. By the time I put the cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes in a bowl, the pasta's ready to go.

    A+

I did enjoy this salad, the goat cheese was wonderful and it was an interesting texture- salad and pasta in the same bite...
Overall, it was a good recipe. I will make it again next summer.

My three-year-old raved about this as she ate it. Very easy and satisfying.

Five stars is correct! This salad is really delicious. I don't usually review recipes, but you must try this. If you add some chicken, you have a main meal. I was hesitant to try it because it had no dressing. The addition of the hot pasta water poured over the pasta and greens, melts the goat cheese and covers the pasta and greens. It's great! My daughter who is the pickiest eater on earth, loved this salad. Be sure to use the mediterranian greens with arugula.

I have to admit, I was skeptical at first with the ingredients, but this dish was fabulous! I used baby arugula which gave the dish wonderful flavor, and added some grilled chicken for some protein- this dish was so quick to make, and absolutely delicious! I love being able to throw together a gourmet dish with so few ingredients, and a short amount of time- thanks Giada!

not horrible, not amazing. i love goat cheese, which is what attracted me to this. for me, i would have liked something slightly sweet in there. someone mentioned a little balsamic, which sounds great.
i would make again, but maybe alter things a bit.

And fantastic to boot! I was looking for a simple, fast dish to make and found this recipe on the FN website. I have to say -- it was delicious! The goat cheese was just a bit strong for my taste, so I think I will make it with a Garlic-Herb Boursin(? cheese next time. All of the reviewers suggestions of additions to the recipe also sound great. This is a wonderful versatile dish - definitely a keeper!

The recipe calls to add 1/2 a cup of water. That was too much in my opinion, it basically melted and washed to goat cheese off the salad and left it in a soup at the bottom of the bowl. I'll try the recipe again without the water, or maybe a table spoon to mix the flavors up. Other than that its an easy recipe.
