This was super quick and ended up tasting pretty good. I thought it might be weird to have lettuce mixed into the pasta (I don't like soggy lettuce but it was good.

Made this the other night in only 30 minutes from start to finish. It was so much better than expected. Doubled the recipe for the two of us and had a small amount left over. Made it exactly as written and served with Giada's cheddar cheese ciabatta bread. Will definitely make again.

Made this as a side dish and it was gobbled up. it tasted even better after letting it sit in the fridge for an hour. So tasty - the starchy water really helps mix and bring out all the flavors. For a dinner - I would add some cooked chicken or even some grilled shrimp. I was really unsure about it - but once I tasted it - so delicious, Really good when it is a bit chilled, so it can be made a little bit ahead of time. Really a yummy dish!

We LOVE this recipe! Grazie Giada!

I added Chicken Sausage & Kalamata olives for a little kick and some protein. I now keep all these ingredients as a staple so that when I ask the hubby what he wants for dinner and he answers "Whatever is easiest" THIS is the recipe I make! Serve with a nice Chianti and you have a great dish.

This got made before I got home and was done with the pasta at room temperature. It looked dry and we debated about adding some sort of dressing, but avoided the temptation. Much to our surprise it was perfect as is! The crunch with the pasta and cheese made for wonderful textural elements. We served this as a side with tri-tip and the meal was delicious. (The kids liked it too. A definate repeat!

So delicious!!!! We Added some feta instead of goat cheese. We also added some fresh basil and some parsley. We didn't put it on the salad greens and we used fresh tomato. We served it with Jello, cucumber and corn on the cob. All I can say is... YUM-O! Thanks Giada!

This dish was light, healthy, and delicious. I listened to a few of the reviews posted and sauteed some garlic and crushed red pepper flakes to add to the pasta, actually in some olive oil from the sun-dried tomatoes. I also added some sweet Italian chicken sausage for some protein. Absolutely delicious! We all ate this as a hot dish, but my father ate it at room temperture and said he liked it both ways! Thanks, Giada for a delicous and healthy recipe. :o

This was a great one person recipe. Fast and easy. I cooked the orecchiette a little less than stated because I like it really al dente. I also reduced balsamic and drizzled over. Definitely didnt need that much pasta water, only what was already on the pasta. Enjoy!

This is too easy to make, and I am a new mom of two. A one year old and a 2 week old. I dont have time for anything, but love to cook. On top of that my husband hates goat cheese so I used motzerella. I took a little bit of everyones additions and came up with.... In a pan mixed balsalmic vinegar and a dash of red pepper flakes and cooked my chicken in it..amazing. Then used mini raviolis filled with parmesan reggiano cheese. After I boiled those I put them in pan that I cooked the chicken and they soaked up the balsalmic vinegar, red pepper, chicken juices and fried them for 7 minutes. Added that on top of the salad, chicken and cheese. Then I used one whole tomato and diced it and warmed it in the same pan. Added it to the salad. Looked really nasty, smelled really good. And the taste was amazing!!!
Thank you everyone for the good tips, our dinner turned out to be amazing. Owe and I used the 3 tbsp of pasta water. Mixed everything together. Yumm Yumm
