My husband orders broccoli rabe EVERY time we visit a restaurant that actually has it on the menu...he LOVES it! I had never had it until we met...so when making this I really had no idea what I was doing or what to expect...it was AWESOME!!! We couldn't stop eating...it also makes a ton so we had it for lunch and dinner the next night. Overkill, maybe...but we LOVE it!! I did use spicy italian sausage as well :

At first I thought, "How good can this be with so few ingredients that aren't particularly interesting?" Boy was I wrong! This recipe is now in my recipe box for good. It is so yummy, satisfying, easy to make, and my husband loves it. Just give it a try - you'll love it!

I was a little skeptical, never really having pasta without a sauce, but this was so tasty! The positive reviews helped me to try it out and I was not disappointed!

I make this recipe almost every week. It's super easy and fast to make and always turns out delicious. My husband avoids vegetables but loves this dish. I also use bowtie pasta frequently since they don't carry orecchiette at Trader Joes.

This is a great dish! Very easy to make and very filling. It's also a great way to sneak in some veggies to those stubborn eaters! I had to use broccolini the first time because I can't find broccoli rabe. It was still delicious! Thanks Giada!

Our family loves this pasta dish,I have used regular broccoli as well as broccoli rabe and its just fine. I have used turkey sausage or regular italian sausage and its delish! I have used wheat rotini and just great. A quick and yummy, good for you faithful recipe. As ever, thank you Giada!

I loved this pasta soooo much! I used bow-ties instead because I cant find Orecchiette at my local grocery store. My husband HATES spinach and because the broccoli rabe resembles it I thought that it would be a problem but I told him that it is broccoli! lol... He LOVES this meal!! So easy also! Takes me only a few minutes to throw together!

My family loved this recipe so much I made it twice in one week! The first time I used broccolini and the next with the broccoli rabe. It was great both ways.
