This was the best Osso Buco I have ever made. I noticed that garlic was missing so I added 2 cloves crushed, and it was perfect. I would however make sure the Rosemary quantity is a little less. But that is only my taste.
As usual Giada's receipes are the best!

This Osso Buco recipe is so easy. It was harder finding the veal shank. It went together easy and tasted wonderful.

I was serving dinner for some friends and wanted to prepare Osso Buco....Being Italian and having critical Italian friends, I knew this was going to be tough crowd. The recipe is easy, but most importantly, the rave reviews I received from my friends was incredible. "the best Osso Buco I've ever had", "I'm always in search of great Osso Buco, you did it" I would recommend this to anyone that wants a great meal and a crowd pleaser at the same time.

Lamb has such a distinct taste and this dish really brings it out. So good even that our 2yr old was sucking the marrow out of the bones before tossing them to the dog.

This is absolutely wonderful. I had to use beef instead of the actual key note meat, as I lived in a small town and could not come across an "osso bucco" shank, but it was great anyway.
I am now in a larger metropolitan area, and will try it as written, but I highly recommend it with a beef roast.

I've made this many times in a slow cooker with different cuts of meat and it always comes out wonderful. I like to serve it over a bed of egg noodles.
