I have made this recipe several times, and everyone is always SO impressed. I make it in six 5 inch mini torte pans, then cut them into quarters after baking. It's the perfect finger food for a brunch buffet or party. YUM!

Easy to make and wonderful that day or re-heated. Perfect light meal...just add a salad.

I made this with bacon instead of the pancetta and it was still a hit. I have already made this more than once.

I prepared this dish for my best friend's bridal shower, and it was a total hit. It was very simple to prepare and tasted DELICIOUS. It was, seriously, the best tasting thing I have ever cooked. I am throwing a baby shower in a couple of weeks, and this torte is on the menu. The torte is the perfect blend of salty and creamy. The ingredients are simple and basic, but when you put it all together, the taste is divine. I often crave this torte. Okay, now I don't think I can wait a couple of weeks to make it again. Looks like I'm off to the grocery store.....

I made this torte as part of an array of goodies at our new years party and it was the first to go! Very tasty and so easy to make!! It was a tad salty to my taste but I was the only one to think so!

This was a delicious recipe - warm and savory, but not too heavy. The combination tasted like amazing carbonara in a torte - yum!!! Definitely will try this again for brunch or a light dinner.
