    Outstanding! This recipe was luscious and incredibly flavorful. I prepared this for a large crowd, it was the crowning touch on a neighborhood progressive dinner. Everyone raved about the recipe. The amaretto sauce was delicious and so simple to prepare. Best of all I was able to prepare it ahead of time and serve it with ease. Thank you Giada!

    Made the Panettone bread pudding after making Giada's Pattone french toast (if you have never made it, look it up fast with the left overs. Was a big hit after dinner.

    This is super delicious! I ate half of the pan in one evening..the only thing I changed: I cut the sugar to 1/2 cup (panettone is sweet anyway, and sprinkled some almond pieces on top when serving. Yum!! Will defo do this again (once a year only though! ;

    Thanks Giada for sharing this recipe! I made it for family for Christmas morning and it was a huge hit! This was so easy to prepare, and surprisingly not overly sweet. The aroma in my kitchen was incredible! This recipe is my go to for holiday brunches, and those special get togethers!!

    Awesome recipe!...Love to take a recipe and make it my own and that is what I did....did not have amaretto so used limoncello in its place. added some fresh lemon zest to the mix. In the bread pudding I used a panattone that had only cranberries and raisins. I cut the bread in slices and toasted and then spread coconut oil on both sides. put in 9 x 13 over night and next day sprinkled coconut over top and mixed the eggs and whipping cream together and since I had some egg nog that I wanted to use up I subbed the egg nog for half and half and cut the sugar in half. It was to drop dead die for ~ so versatile! Fluffy and yumm O!

    I make this panettone bread pudding every year for a holiday open house that I host, and it is the biggest hit. I am constantly asked for the recipe. The bread pudding is delicious, and the amaretto sauce is the perfect accompaniment. It also reheats well for breakfast the next day! It's a huge crowd-pleaser! Best to make it around the holidays, otherwise, finding panettone can be challenging. But the bread does freeze well, so if you but some extra loaves in December, you can use them later.

    Very good, creamy and moist. I made half the portion and also cut down on the sugar.

    I used the pudding and topping with some cinnamon rolls by the Neely's that were dry and dense. I should have used less pudding, because it took an extra 10minutes & stilll was a bit egg-y in some spots but otherwise was tasty. Used kahlua, some orange zest and a tsp of vanilla in the sauce and it was delicious.
