Great for make ahead. Reheats well the next day or two. Need's a 2 lb panettone. Double the sauce because you'll want more and be sorry if you run out.

LOVED IT. My first time having pannetone and it actually is very similar to a kind of sweet bread they have in Mexico too. Anyway, since it was the holidays, I was able to easily find pannetone at CVS and at S Mart. It was super delicious. Totally unhealthy and rich but very yummy. I like eating bread pudding cold the next day. Will definitely make again next Christmas.

This is a great way to use Panettone. I actually cut the recipe in half because I had used part of the loaf to make Giada's French toast recipe. This dessert made a big hit in our household especially with some that don't like bread pudding. What I would do differently though, is bake the pudding mixture in another large pan filled with hot water. I was surprised that this technique wasn't used and I think the pudding would be more custard like and not browned on the bottom. I definitely will make this again!

Excellent. Made just as recipe states but added chocolate chips per Giada's comment in her video. Delish.

Great for a special dessert, but I never want to know the calorie and fat content! Next time will try paulacurry911's suggestions.

I'm diabetic so I lightened up this recipe a lot and it was delicious. Substituted Spenda baking sugar, 2% milk, fat free half and half and 4 eggs. Didn't even use a sauce, just some half and half over top. It was great.

This was wonderful. Made this today for a Christmas tea for five elderly ladies. They could not believe how delicious this was. I did not have Amaretto so I used TripleSec(an organge liquor in place of it. It was delicious - the orange flavor worked very well with the citrine flavor of the Panettone! Will definitely be making this again!
