I saw Giada make this on her tv show and ran out to find panettone when the show was over. I have made this many times over the past few years, always making double the sauce. I also leave the crust on, and have found that adding slivered blanched almonds to the pudding adds a nice crunch.

This was wonderful. I used a 2 lb. loaf of Panettone with all the other ingredient quantities remaining true to the recipe provided. I ran out of whole milk so used 2 cups whole plus 1/2 cup 2% for the pudding and 1/2 cup 2% for the sauce. It was plenty rich and creamy. I also left the crust on the Panettone; it did not detract from the appearance or texture. The sauce is to die for!!! Thank you Giada!

I make this bread pudding on holidays. It is absolutely delicious. It makes a perfect dessert for any occasion. If you love amaretto, panettone and heavy cream, this is a dessert for you. I highly recommend this.

the best, what makes this out of this world is the amaretto sauce after saying that you have to use the panettone bread because it is buttery bread cake.

This receipe is delicious! I did not have Panettone Bread, so used a loaf of Italian bread, it turned out wonderful. I served the bread and sauce warm, it was a homerun! This will make you a fan of bread pudding, if you are not one already.

Boy, Giada - what a wonderful bread pudding! I made this for Christmas Eve and it was a huge hit with my family. I didn't have amaretto, so I used cointreau - and it was wonderful. Thanks for giving me a great way to use that wonderful Pannetone!

This is by far the BEST bread pudding I have ever made. It was our Christmas dessert. I was so glad there was left overs too! Heats up really good. The sauce is what makes it. Had a hard time findling Panettone Bread in our town. There is a specialty Italian store 50 miles away, luckily a co-worker was going there and picke it up for me. Will defintely make again!
