I'm giving this a 4 star but I could have given it a 3 star. There was something weird about the way my brie cheese & red pepper mixed with the croissant that made the whole thing a little bit too soft. I think maybe since the brie is so creamy that it might be better against a harder bread or maybe I should have toasted my croissant more. I love the flavors of all the ingredients separately, but maybe not all together.

This was a really yummy sandwich! I loved the combination of all the ingredients and it was very simple. I'm a sauce girl though. I would of liked to have a light dressing of some sort. Definetely worth making again but I may experiment:

I think the recipe is easy to follow and it has great flavor. I have made it a few times for luncheons. I have also altered the recipe from time to time. I make the sandwich into smaller sized, with mini croisant roll. I have also altered the meat, by adding a pork loin that is mariented in a citrus/pepper. So Good!

I used leftover london broil to make these sandwiches for my friends, and they turned out delicious! I used a buttery brie that melted smooth. My one friend quickly whipped up a Dijon mustard spread that added to the flavor. I will definitely keep this recipe handy for future meals!

I made these for a luncheon with my sister who came home from living in London for a year. I thought I would try to make her something that was easy to make but restaurant quality. And Giada great for those type of recipes. I came across this recipe and the flavors were a bit bland and I wasn't a big fan of the brie. I didn't get a cheap kind either. I'm glad I tried the sandwich at work the day before my sister was to arrive. I had to do a recipe remix asap. I subituted the brie for smoked provolone and seasoned my steak with a garlic butter sauce. Just put butter in a pan and add garlic and let the butter and garlic infuse together. The flavors turn out really well. Also try it with roast beef its pretty great.

This sandwich was very good, but I cheated a little bit and used the Guy's Chicago Italian Beef Sandwich recipe, which added very yummy flavor to the meat. I just like a lot more flavor and spices when seasoning my meat. The sandwich was wonderful with one exception-the Brie. I guess it may be an acquired taste, but the Brie I bought was absolutely gross. It even had a nasty after taste. I am almost wondering if the cheese was even any good, especially purchasing it at Walmart. I didn't quite like the flavor of the Brie. I would definitly make this sandwich again, but using maybe swiss, provolone or something similar.

I'm giving this a three ,because it sounds so terrific but it's not much better than a Philly C.S.

This recipe sounds delicious but something is missing or not showing. I have made it with two different bries expensive French brie and domestic, fresh roasted peppers and jarred.

The problem to me was, I could only taste the beef and arugula . I mean It was good and all but ,I was just expecting a more complex flavor profile from the diverse ingredients listed... It happens...
