Fourth time making this. Easy and very tasty, my daughter loves it. Just make sure it is cooked through.

I recently made this dish for my family and we all LOVED IT! It was a little tricky flipping it...my husband helped and we actually slid it out onto a cutting board and then flipped it over to avoid putting the uncooked side of the potato pancake on the board. It worked really well and man was it delicious. I am a huge basil lover so I really enjoyed the basil in here!

Love this recipe. So easy. I never add the basil leaves. Im just not a huge fan of basil. But I have made this a few times and it always does turn out so good.

Watch your time around the 12 min mark, the onions and garlic will burn. BUT it is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and full of flavor.

So nice to have a recipe I could use with some ingredients I had on hand, easy to follow and it tasted great. Mahalo Nui Loa from Hawaii.

I made this exactly as the recipe indicated, I had no problems flipping it as indicated and no sticking problems. I used a professional pan. But I disliked the fresh basil in this. I think chives would have been better. I may try again with chives and another clove of garlic.

DELICIOUS - A little tricky, but well worth the effort!! We'll be making it over and over again, so I'm sure we'll find our own knack for flipping the pancake and removong the weight without burning a finger.

We increased the parmesan cheese and garlic a bit to fit our tastes. The amount of onion wasn't clear, so we went with 1/2 of a large yellow onion.

We prepared a chimichurri sauce using Chef Visconte's recipe for our open faced tomato/ mozzarella/ basil sandwiches - we served both together and used the sauce on the potato pancakes too. Very, Very yummy!!

This was great! I was looking for a quick but good recipe as I only had a few potatoes. Fresh basil would have been better, but I found the recipe to be very easy. No problem with the pancakes (we made 7 - 8 smaller ones sticking and I just flipped them over. I made sure that I had enough olive oil to cover the whole bottom of the pan. Will definately make again.

My dad saw this recipie and wanted to try and make his first potato pancakes. He says that his mom and sister's reciepies always turn out soggy. This wasn't too hard to make and it was great flavor. Next time I might not use onions because I don't like them too much and would rather have the other flavors come through. Loved the basil and parm. It didn't take as long to cook either. The plate flipping tick turned out ok, but next time we might just make individual pancakes or hash browns.
