Wonderful flavor! Next time I will use less than 2 lbs potatoes as it was too much for my pan. My potatoes stuck to the pan so it did not come out as pretty as Giada's pancake. If anyone has any suggestions about preventing this, please share : This was a very tasty recipe. . .loved the parmesan and basil in it!

Wow, was this great! Unfortunately, I do not have a grating blade in my food processor, and so grating all of the potatoes by hand was a bit time-consuming. However, it was well worth the effort!! The flavor combination was awesome! I LOVE fresh parmesan cheese in just about anything, and the cheese in this dish makes it soooooo good. My family loved it, including my picky younger sister. I will definitely try this out again. Thanks, Giada!!! :o

This dish was very easy and so good. I could eat this in the morning with breakfast or as a side with dinner. Try this one out.

This is an easy recipe especially if you have the grating tool for your food processor. The only nerve racking part for me was flipping the pancake and putting it back in the pan. Which thankfully, wasn't a disaster! Will definitely make again, but maybe I'll try making individual pancakes.

On a holiday table spread with everything from glazed ham to egg casserole, Christmas cookies and cranberry coffee cake, this was a favorite of the family as evidenced by its disappearance. I loved the creamy cheesy texture inside, crispy on the outside, and great flavor.

I made this for christmas morning! What a great way to start the day! I made some adjustments though. I didn't have fresh garlic, so I just used powder for both the onion and garlic. Adding the onion powder makes sure noone will bite into a half cooked or even raw onion!

I just had to make this after seeing Giada make it on her show. It came out so good, my husband & kids raved about it! I squeezed the potatoes 4 times with flour sacks & also let them sit in one to absorb the excess moisture while I finished getting my pan heated up. It didn't come out super crispy throughout but I think the reason why is the cheese. It gives it a creamy inside & a crunchy exterior. Regardless, the taste was phenomenal & I will definitely be making this again!
