It looks like such a cool dish to prepare but with all the tomato products, isn't that all it tastes like? I see a couple of you have made it and didn't mention it being that way,,,,just curious.

Hello Giada,
I just watched one of your latest food shows which featured absolutely gorgeous tomatoes combined with Penne pasta and seasoned with oregano. It looked absolutely wonderful. You really come up with and put together some delightful recipes
I'm always interested in what you are cooking from one week to the next. Love all the enthusiasm you bring to the show as well.

This recipe couldn't be easier and it is amazingly delicious. I used whole wheat pasta and added fresh parsley. Used slighly less oregano and olive oil. Wonderful!

Used whole wheat penne because that's what was on hand and four cloves of garlic. Can't wait until summer when tomatoes are ripe--it'll be that much better. Put a sheet pan under baking dish--it made a mess. . .a delicious mess!
