This recipe is delicious! A quick and easy yet impressive pasta dish! However I did realize that in her cookbook the amount of oregano was altered to just 2 tbsp and not a 1/4 cup.

My family and I really enjoyed this recipe. It was a beautiful dish, easy to make and lots of tasty flavors. The only thing I did different was decreased the amount of oregano and add some basil. I like oregano, but that measurement seemed like a lot, so cut that in half and added a TBSP of basil. I have already made this again since trying it out. Thank you for the wonderful recipe!

I just finished making Pasta alla Formiana. Very Easy! This dish makes a nice presentation when served. However; the oregano really does over power the dish and it is a tad on the sour side. I am not sure why- Taste is so individual. This just didn't work for this family. I would cut the oregano back to a tsp. Would I try this dish again, even knowing how simple it is to make, ah no!! I figure if I have to make changes to the recipe then it doesn't work for me.

I really liked this! my only complaint is that the oregano gave it a very strong taste that really over powered it. But over all it was good, super easy, fun and so pretty! I plan to make it again with basil, maybe half basil half oregano.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this! I added a few more garlic cloves and topped with parmesan cheese. (I always add more garlic to anything that asks for a little bit! It was so quick and easy but tasted like I slaved away! I read a few of the lesser rated reviews and it sounded like they all didn't like the oregano... I say they aren't big herb eaters because we thought it was the perfect amount! This dish will definitely be made many times in my home! Thanks, Giada for another fantastic recipe!

This is such a simple, easy and DELICIOUS recipe! I make it several times a month. You'll especially enjoy this if you love tomatoes! The only thing I changed is adding a half cup of hot water to it before it baked, just so I knew the pasta had an easier time cooking.

Love Giada, but not this recipe! My family loves pasta, but agreed with me that the sauce was too overpowering for the dish (more like a paste and less of a sauce and there was a lot of it. The pasta cooked fine and we liked the fresh tomatoes on top the best. There are so many other delicious pasta recipes that we won't make this one again.

It was very good. I made it with whole wheat pasta. I added extra garlic, you can never have to much garlic. I was surprised how easy it was to make. I saw need for so much olive oil. Next time I will add a fraction if any.

This dish is both tasty and innovative and it was really interesting to me that the pasta cooked in the oven instead of in a pot of boiling water. I just think that is so neat! Anyways, the pasta turned out really well and the whole dish was delicious. My boyfriend thought it was too "tomato-y", so maybe if I made it again I would add some basil and cheese, or even some ground sausage to his half. I think popping some other veggies in there would be good too. I kind of look at this as a base recipe to which you could add your own flare, and I plan on doing that the next time I make it.
