    I made no changes to this recipe until after it was finshed & then I thought it was semi-bland so I sauteed some italian sausage & added that plus I added a couple of tbp. of tomato paste...I think it helped a lot.

    We all take turns cooking throughout the week and my 16 year old daughter loves to make this because it's so quick and easy and wonderful.

    this was so easy and delicious i will make it all the time. i used one can of white beans and one can of red beans. the consistency is perfect and the garlic/cheese/pasta is the most savory and fulfilling flavor.

    Easy, uncomplicated, everyone likes it. I don't eat pork, so I left out the pancetta. If there's any left over I take out the pasta and refrigerate separately from the broth, otherwise the pasta will absorb all the broth over night, and you are left with mushy noodles.
