We love this dish. Even two of my pickiest children (a 5 and 3 yr. old loved it. I did add minced celery and carrots, as another reviwer suggested, and used turkey ham instead of pancetta. I would make this dish every week if I could - a definite winner!

My family loves this soup. It was easy to make and they were actually fighting over who got the last bit. I do have one suggestion though and that is to double the recipe.

This recipe was very easy. I used turkey bacon as substitute and didn't blend a cup of the soup to thicken it. It was very hearty and delicious.

Had a great time making this for my wife, and the look of satisfaction from her could never be beat. Recommend this to all for a cold night with some good bread for a great meal!

Very tasty soup. I used cannelini beans (white instead of red, I think that's more traditional. Either way would be great!
