Recipe was very good. I saw it on tv and the recipe is a bit different as to how to assemble it. I did what Giada did on the tv vs the recipe here.....I found it a bit salty . I love salt too. Next time I make this I won't add so much salt to the pasta as it cooks. I will also add more of the pasta water. It says to bake the tomato's for 30-35 or until brown. After 40 minutes it was just turning brown. All and all it was good !!

This is a very tasty and simple recipe! I added some fresh chopped basil in addtion to the parley. Also, added about 1/2 cup choppped kalamata olives. Lastly, wait until the end to add the bread crumbs, just sprinke some over the dish right before serving, in addition to some parmesan cheese. Simply roast the tomatoes "naked" or add some feta cheese to them. Black pepper is nice too!!
    Thanks Giada

This is an easy go-to recipe for a weeknight family dinner. The tomatoes and breadcrumbs roast and form a delicious sort of paste that coats the pasta in so much flavor. I did omit the capers. Also I did add quite a bit of pasta water at the end, which made the cheese and breadcrumbs form a creamy sauce. Delish and very pretty with the red and green colors from the tomatoes and parsley.

It's easy to make but I wouldn't pay for this at a restaurant. I'm not sure how this got 5 stars; I've made better tasting dishes out of those ranked 4.

Ironically, I love all the ingredients--capers, tomatoes and cheese, but the breadcrumbs ruin everything. It forms kind of a strange baby food paste. When I added the pasta water as suggested, all I had was soggier baby food paste... The flavors would be okay if the texture wasn't so awful.

This is a great recipe! When I made it I used chicken as well. I put two chicken breasts in olive oil and breaded them with the italian bread crumbs. I cooked them in the same pan with the tomatoes and cooked for about 45 minutes. The tomatoes and olive oil made the chicken perfectly moist and delicious over the pasta! I definitely will make this again!

Delicious and simple to make. Ingredients are always available. I have made this dish several times and it's always fantastic. For a fun leftover idea, grill in skillet. The cheese gets gooey and crusty. Yum!
