A great recipe - I love the addition of the peas. Have had this in restaurants but never thought to do this at home. My husband loves this very affordable & tasty dish.

I saw the recipe this morning and decided to make that for my husband's lunch.
It was great! I had some left over artichokes and I stirred those into the sauce too...it was fabulous, husband loved it. Said it was a do again, that is a compliment.

This recipe was so easy to make. At first I was nervous that it might not taste good, but I was wrong. It was so yummy! And even better the next day. My husband NEVER eats leftovers, and this was gone the next afternoon. I plan on making 2 pounds next time!

this recipe was very easy but it was way too rich. i think it might be less heavy made with tomato sauce versus paste. i will try it that way and use about half the amount of peas. other than that, it was easy and good.

I saw Giada make this recipe on tv and it looked so good. I made it yesterday and used onion instead of shallots, vermicelli instead of linguine, and a few extra peas. I had never used only tomato paste as the tomato flavor in a tomato sauce, and I adjusted the amounts a little to make sure it would be enough for a whole pound of pasta. It was SO delicious when I was done. I didn't have any romano cheese so I just used parmesan. It is such a light sauce, and the peas make for such an interesting texture and presentation, and I had all the ingredients on hand. This is such a great light alternative to a heavy tomato sauce. Thanks, Giada!!

Giada does it again. I mostly prepare only what I've seen her fix on Everyday Italian, so the preparation is already simplified. I'll make this one over and over and keep some in the freezer for quick suppers. Cooking for only two has been hard to learn - recipes like this one make it not only possible, but delicious.

Quick, easy, satisfying. Although I didn't have any peas left so I used green beans instead and it was still really good. The cheese gave a nice salty bite.
