Was a quick and easy way to use up some pantry items. Who doesn't have the ingredients in their pantry? A quick and easy emergency recipe or great for vegetarian guests.

Great!! Can use as a side or main course but don't forget to reserve the pasta water. It reall makes a difference and can completely change or change up the dish.

Really good as a quick pasta meal. Adjust the spices to whatever level of flavor you want. Great vegetarian dish.

This dish was easy to prepare, and I had all of the ingredients in my pantry to make it. My husband and I loved it, the flavor is amazing

I saw this dish on tv one sunday while i was at the gym. I thought it would be perfect to prepare for a light dinner date.
Not only was it very easy to prepare, but it was absolutely delicious. As an added touch, I added shrimp. It all worked out so well.
I'm sharing this recipe with my friends.

Most people have peas in their freezer, carrots in the refrigerator, and tomato paste in the pantry, so you can whip this up in minutes, which is what I did. I thought the concept of turning tomato paste and pasta water into a sauce was unique so I had to try this and I wasn't disappointed. It was very good - I just couldn't figure out how to get the peas and carrots onto a forkful of twirled linguine. Peas and carrots just don't stick to pasta. Love Giada's recipes though - new takes on Italian cooking, light and flavorful. Never disappointing.

I was hesitant about this recipe since the ingredients seemed so simple. But it turned out so yummy! I'm very impressed!

I feel terrible saying this but it really just wasn't very flavorful and was kind of dry to the mouth. Could probably use some crushed tomatoes.

After watching Giada prepare this dish, I decided it would be a great Saturday lunch with friends. I added some cooked shrimp just before serving it up. Served a salad with it and my guests enjoyed their Saturday lunch.

I thought this recipe was delicious. I tweeked it a little bit by adding some herb de provence to it. It gave it great flavor.
