I didn't have any peas so I used frozen, chopped spinach with the excess water squeezed out instead. I also cut the thyme to 1/2 tsp. I used a 6 oz. can of tomato paste instead of 3 Tbl. (Needed to use a little more pasta water because of this This recipe was so good, even my husband liked it and he only likes traditional spaghetti sauce!!!! I will definitely make this again. This recipe also lends itself to different interpretations.........that's the fun part!

Didn't have tomato paste so I used 1/2 cup of marinara sauce. I was trying to cut the recipe in half but forgot to half the marinara sauce. Turned out to be a good mistake. Will double the amount of sauce next time as it worked out great. Also added some diced chicken that was in the fridge. All in all, it was quick, easy and tasty, wiil definitely make again.

I added small pieces of diced chicken breast when I sauted the onion, used chicken broth, and frozen peas and carrots. I had some fresh basil I added to sauce, and dried spagetti seasonings for the thyme, & oregano spices. Very good and would make it again.

Wonderful taste. I added sun-dried tomatos and chopped the carrots. Going to try the fusilli , spinach and asiago cheese recipe this week. This is my first review. Love the other inputs for all the recipes that are available. "They are very helpful for altering the recipe if you like.
    Keep up the good work.

I like this recipe because I have all the ingredients on hand all the time, and because it's easy to make, and it's very tasty. The only changes I made for my own preferences is that I used fresh thyme and parsley, and angel hair pasta. I'll be making it frequently.

This is super good and super easy! Even my husband is not a fan of pasta, he really liked it. I like the fact that it used common pantry ingredients and seasonings - no need to buy special stuff. Next time i am going to add some chili pepper flakes too. Thanks Giada!

I made this for the first time last week. The colors were fun and it tasted pretty good. I don't like cooked carrots so I omitted them and used fresh parsley instead of the dried. I also tossed it with some fresh tomatoes just before serving. They really brightened up the flavor!

It just didn't work. Not much flavor and the carrots seemed out of place.

Nice basic recipe, a fun twist on a typical weeknight spaghetti dinner. However, I would recommend doubling the sauce or half-ing the pasta in the recipe.

I'd also recommend adding a few red pepper flakes, and next time, I'll try fresh herbs.

The lady that said there was no flavor she was wrong. I did though use leftover pasta and chicken broth and it was great. I will defiantly make this again. So far I have loved every dish I have tried from her.
