this is so easy and so good. i think that the recipe is great as-is. the two types of cheese and dried herbs really add a lot of flavor.

My daughter and I saw this being made on the show and she said that it looked really good to her and that she wanted to have it for her upcoming 5th birthday party. Since I am always challenged by what to make for my kids parties, I thought it sounded like a great idea. Instead of using linguini I used mini farfalle (butterflies with the peas (caterpillars - her observations, not mine. It was a huge hit, the sauce had enough tomato flavor for the kids without being a huge tomato mess. When I make it again, she already wants it for her lunch, I will lightly steam or blanch the carrots before sauteing, they were still a bit firm when I was done. All the moms have asked for the recipe, so you know it was good.

This looked better on tv than it tasted. My husband and I did not care for it at all.

This pasta is great. I like it as written or add some chicken and a little heavy cream to make a pink sauce. Key in seasoning is to add enough salt!

I am a BIG Giada fan and make a lot of her recipes. Up until now I have never not liked one of her recipes, however this recipe was very bland. I tried to add more spices in order to make it better, however I think because of the tomato paste the pasta has no real flavor. If I was to ever make this again I think I would use tomato sauce instead of paste and maybe add some crushed red pepper? Either way, I was kind of disappointed with this recipe.

To all of you who comment on the blandness, taste as you cook then adjust spices to your liking.

I really liked this dish. I've made it a few times and the first time it was rather bland. The second time I put more seasonings and it was very good!

This is a wonderful recipe for working women with little time. It is easy to prepare and the whole family loved it. They look forward to having this meal for dinner. Thanks Giada!
