Ok so this recipe has plenty of good reviews, which is why decided to give it a go.. They are absolutely delicious, I cant stop eating them!! I never thought I would like peanut butter cookies sooo much!!! I used raspberry jam because I had that on hand. I also did not have wax paper so I sprayed pam but I think this made them a little darker and almost burnt at the bottom... Nonetheless they are delish!! You can definitely make them a smaller size as they are quite large. But I got 10 cookies as the recipe states. A must try even for those who are not crazy about peanut butter!! : DO NOT OVERBAKE

Delicious and easy - the jam keeps the cookie moist.

These cookies taste sooooo good! Great PB&J recipe. I used Strawberry Preserves instead and it was wonderful. The ONLY thing I would change about this recipe is the ratio of jam to cookie. There is ALOT of cookie and a little jam and the middle was the most delicious part. Next time I'm going to make the cookie balls smaller to fix that. Will make again!

Oh my goodness, these cookies are the BEST peanut butter cookies EVER! I didn't add the jam, because my husband and daughter wrinkled their noses when I described the cookies. We all love them and I will always use this recipe when we want peanut butter cookies. SOOO delicious!

LOVED these. We made them gluten free easily (in case anyone is interested. I used 160 grams (I use a scale of equal parts sorghum flour, tapioca flour, potato starch and sweet white rice flour. I also added 1 tsp on xanthan gum. These cookies are PERFECT gluten free. Everyone loved them so much I am making them for a potluck tomorrow night. The gluten free version is best the day you make them but still very good the next day!

Wonderful cookie. Not your classic peanut butter flavor; I think the chocolate mellowed them out. I made them with and without the jam & they were really good both ways. I also made them smaller using a cookie scoop. The cracking on top and the sugar make them a pretty cookie to give as gifts.

these are tasteless cookies. I feel sorry for the time and good ingredients I used. I think there are two major problems with these cookies. first of all there is a lot of cocoa powder which doesnt allow you to feel the sweetness of so much sugar used in the recipe. second the cookies are very big and get many cracks on the top so they fall apart when you try to eat them. I think if I used 1/4 of cup of cocoa and made the cookies in smaller balls than said in the recipe I would get better result.

I was served these cookies at bookclub. When the hostess said peanut butter and jam cookies-I almost didn't take one. This may be the BEST cookie I have ever had. Can't wait to make them although I will wait for company-I cannot be trusted with them all to myself.
