I'm honestly not really a huge peanut butter cookie fan, but the blackberry element intrigued me. SO glad I made them! I encourage you to try it with the blackberry jam first. It's an awesome flavor combination! The cocoa is a nice touch; it definitely helps set it apart from the traditional peanut butter cookies that I tend to not like. You won't be disappointed!

After making this cookie, I would encourage cooks to form and bake a test cookie first. I’m glad I did. I ended up adjusting the size of the hole and the amount of filling to make the hole larger so the entire tsp. of jam would fit. Not having parchment paper was no problem. I substituted foil with pam spray. I also used a jumbo sized egg, since that was all I had. My prepared dough came out to exactly 3 cups. And when I quartered each cup of dough, it made an even dozen large cookies. These cookies are fragile until completely cool, so transfer with care. The texture was fantastic. Light, crispy, chewy, and delicious. I would definitely make this again, especially with a jam that was less sweet. Family said they looked like they came from a bakery.

Love love love these cookies. So easy to make and sooo delicious. The only ingredient that was omitted was the egg. My mother missed writing that down. The cookies actually turned out great. I will not be adding that egg in at all. Why change a good thing. I used grape and red raspberry jelly, yum.

These are the best cookies Ive ever made!!! I used grape jam just because thats wat i had on hand at the moment. They were huge! It was just like eating a peant butter and jelly sandwich. They were so soft in the middle. I will definently make these again. I though they were going to be too rich but they werent at all. I also was skeptical of adding the cocoa powder cause I was aiming for a "peanut butter and jelly" cookie but it was just the right touch. Thanks Giada!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I MADE THEM SOMEWHAT SMALLER TO GET 16 COOKIES AND THEY WERE STILL REALLY BIG! BAKED 12 MINUTES AND HAD TO EAT ONE 12 MINUTES OUT OF THE OVEN STILL WARM. I LOVE BLACKBERRY SO I STUCK WITH THAT. MADE A FEW WITHOUT THE PRESERVES FOR THE LITTLE ONE BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT LIKE ANY JAM, JELLY, ETC. WILL DEFINITELY MAKE AGAIN BUT WILL GO EVEN SMALLER. HAPPY COOKING TO ALL!! :

These are the BEST cookies EVER!!!!!!! I make bulk batches of like 50 and bring them to parties. Everyone just loves them...including my stomach. Super easy to make to. I was at the walk in urgent care clinic, and Food Network was on(cruel to have food on tv when people are coming in sick and have nausea I watched how to make them and fell in love right away...even before I tried or made them

Great cookies and easy to make. I only gave it a 4 compared to a 5 because I am not that big a fan of jam.

These are Excellent, and so easy to make. I did make them considerably smaller than the recipe called for...about 1-1 1/2 T per cookie and 1/8 tsp jam per cookie, then baked 8-9 minutes. Delicious!
