I thought the chocolate and sugar coating were a bit much - it was good but very sweet. Tried it without those as well and it tasted like a toasted peanutbutter and jelly sandwich - omg so good!!!

These cookies are very good if you like the taste/smell of peanut butter. The recipe was very specific and easy to make. They came out soft and chewy.

Great recipe, but it only yields 10 cookies as directed. Didn't want to go through the effort of baking something from scratch, only to get 10 cookies - because when I bring something to a family or work event I like to have a couple dozen of whatever I make. So I used a large cookie scoop instead of an ice cream scoop to scoop out the dough balls. It made 24 cookies! Used 1/2 teaspoon of jam (instead of 1 teaspoon and baked them for 10 minutes (instead of 11. They came out awesome!

These cookies were very good,I just wanted something sweet to eat and ran across them, baked them up in a snap, let them cool, and ate one. Good and chewy, not a peanut butter fan, but these were good. Blackberry jam set it off.

Mine didnt turn out as pretty as hers did, but they are so good. I also used raspberry jam since that is what I had. Wonderful cookies.

They were a big hit. I accidentally left out the brown sugar (I was having trouble locating my regular sugar and got so caught up in that that the brown sugar was forgotten and they still turned out wonderfully!

I'v been longing to try this recipe for a while now. Omg DECADENT! Really lovely, I didn't have a proper measure for my butter so the dough came out slightly more moistened than I think it's intended....but it just meant that I had to bake it for an extra 10 mins and after cooling properly they were divine! For people who watch their weight/trying to lose wieght like me, you can cut the sugar a bit if you like, I'd always say to follow the recipe true to form the first time you make it so you can objectively tell if you want to make any alterations to it. Thanks Alot Giada for this wonderful recipe, it was a hit at our father's day brunch!

I made these cookies possibly a year ago so my review is long overdue however they turned out great! I was first starting out my cooking skills so the cookies turned out a bit burnt but it was ok because they still tasted great! Loved the peanut butter taste along with the soft jam in the center. So good! She makes wonderful recipes, thanks Giada!

These are a great and delicious treat! My family loves them but I would definitely have to say that one is enough, as these are some very rich cookies. Substituted grape jelly for the blackberry jam which was a little messier than I hoped for but they still tasted terrific! The cooking time on my oven was practically perfect at 12 minutes. Great if you follow a nutritional lifestyle and are treating yourself, but want to be satisfied with just one cookie.

These cookies are really delicious and sophisticated enough to serve a small party of adults. I once forgot to put the jam on prior to baking (oops! the cookies and was pleasantly surprised by the texture by not cooking the jam. The jam does tend to not set up as well this way, though.
