Great recipe! But I used canola oil instead of butter and I added some ground flax and walnuts to add fiber. They are great for breakfast!

What a great recipe - we will never buy granola bars again! I do press the bars down very tightly before they go into the oven - no problem with them falling apart.

Agreeing with some previous posts, it felt like it needed to have some flour in the recipe to give a better consistency. It was really soft and falling apart. It was not like those granola bars I've known of. Didn't care for this that much. Almost like something is wrong with the recipe.

Although these tasted yummy, they completely fell apart- even after I cooled them for several hours. I feel like I wasted a lot of good ingredients as they ended up in the garbage.

Delicious, my kids love them. For me, I followed the directions exactly, and they came out like chewy granola bars. The pan size is odd, but I have a le creuset baking dish that's 7x10, and it worked perfectly.

Following other reviews I cut the butter to 1/4 cup, added another 1/2 cup oats, and refrigerated over night. These are fantastic! I am baking my second batch right now.

These bars are very good. The only problem I had was that they fell apart fairly easily, otherwise loved them.

These bars are amazing! I had no issues with them falling apart. I did leave them in the dish for a few hours before cutting them though. I've made a ton of granola bars and these are by far the tastiest! Thanks Giada!
