Sorry, I was really looking forward to this, and it was a fail. It was rather disappointing and I don't mind peas! Bf and I were NOT a big fan, I told him he didn't have to finish it (even though I only put a bit for him. I'll try to salvage it and do what someone else put which was the alfredo fettucine idea! Thanks for the suggestion, lol. I usually have added peas sauteed in a light butter w/carrots in a traditional rice recipe and I LOVE the flavor there, but this was an epic fail.

I love this dish and make it all the time. It is particularly delicious with fettucini alfredo!

The only changes that I suggest are to leave out the parsley and also not add salt (the prosciutto is salty enough.

I am not a big fan of peas, but I can't get enough of this recipe! The only problem I have now if finding fresh Prosciutto and shallots. I tried the packaged Proscuitto and it was disgusting and expensive! But if you can find these ingredients, this is an amazing quick and easy recipe!

It was a great use of what I had in the fridge. Let it saute a little too much and it has this delicious char to it. Substituted rosemary for parsley and it's super fragrant.

I was tired and wanted to make a quick dish, so I picked this one. I didn't have prosciutto so I substituted baked ham. Dee-lish! It's now one of my favorite dishes.

This was a great side dish and a fun way to dress up the peas. If you get domestic prosciutto then it's not that expensive, my husband loved this one.

This dish has great potential, but DO NOT add salt. The prosciutto has enough salt on it's own. I served this with chicken and it went quite nicely. I think less salt and maybe add mushrooms or another veggie to take away from the salt would also help this dish. Overall great idea though!

This recipe was inexpensive, super easy and absolutely delicious. While it may have been intended as a side dish, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it as a main dish. Thank you!
