I made it just as the recipe says, but it helps to add extra cheese. Delicious! My husband loved it, too. He loves pasta and it's fun to change it up. But beware that this dish is not for the health conscious unless you lean up all the ingredients, which can be done. Use wheat pasta, lean bacon, fat free cheese, etc...

I made this recipe for my mother's burthday and she told me it was like the carbonara that she had in Rome. Besides being easy and delicious, it must be relatively authentic.

Super yum, super easy, and SUPER fattening! Once in a while meal, for sure.

After reading some of the reviews I used half the eggs and not the full amount of cream partially substituting skim milk. The result was a very tast Carbonara that I can now make myself!

I make Carbonara every one to two weeks. It is one of my staple recipes, so I thought I would try this version when I saw it on TV. It was to heavy and not that flavorful. The recipe I often use comes from, dare I say it, Racheal Ray and I much prefer it becuase it uses garlic which gives it some flavor and is not so heavy on the eggs or cream. I have tried many of Giada's recipes but was disappointed with this one.

This was very tasty. My whole family really liked it. It was a little bit too rich but otherwise....delicious!

I made this last night for the kids - they loved it. I used half pancetta/half bacon. Just the quick, easy recipe a mom needs for a busy schedule. Thanks.

This dish was fantastic! It was a wonderful change from the usual red sauces we make. My family was nothing but satisfied.

I cooked regular bacon with onion and used Low Carb spaghetti. It was simple to prepare and so so delicious!

This was very good but it was a bit too rich. It probably would be better with panchetta but i could only find bacon.
