    This is a fantastic recipe. Dont let the raw egg scare you, it heats up from the warm pasta. The sauce is so rich and creamy. It is also very quick to make and easy. If you dont mind a rich meal and want to impress freinds, this is a great recipe to try!

    The prep was quick and easy! BUT the end result was disappointing to my tastes though I did get complimented on it. The raw egg taste and smell was too much for me. I love many of Giada's dishes this is not a favorite of mine, thanks just the same Giada!

    This turned out alright, but there are a lot of changes that we would make the next time around. As people have said before the amount of egg is a little over the top and comes out pretty bland.

    This recipe was great! Since my town or any town near it probably hasn't heard of pancetta, and I was too lazy to drive an hour to the city, I used bacon and it was still delicious. Even my husband, who usually doesn't say much about food even if he likes it, said "out of the blue" a few hours after he ate the penne, "that was really good!" I have used it 2 times and will use it again.
