This is quite interesting and different. The lemon zest adds a lightness and zing that balances out the heavy cream and almonds. This is very filling. I want to kick it up a notch next time... I might add some hot pepper and carrots for more color (it's very cream and green-colored otherwise and/or perhaps a little pancetta. It just needs a little something... And I'd probably also zest an additional lemon.

Delicious! My family loved it. I liked the fact that it was quick and easy to prepare. I'm beginning to teach my 13 year old daughter to cook and we both found this meal easy and very tasty. Thank you Giada.

Great meal. I think I will add a little heat next time, maybe red pepper or chilli peppers. I will make again, thanks Giada!

Delicious! I divided the recipe in two (live alone and it turned out great! Made some slight modifications based on other reviews. Instead of peas I blanched some asparagus. I sauteed half of an onion in the pan before adding the almond mixture and I added a bit of cayenne pepper while the sauce cooked. I also used a three italian cheese mix instead of just parmesan for added flavor. I'm not sure where other people got a gritty texture from the almonds...they added a great flavor a bit of crunch. Will totally make again and for guests! So easy!

Super good; I make it all the time for my family! I just exhanged the peas for broccoli because my husband doesn't like peas.

Very tasty! The almonds really give the sauce a rich flavor. This is an excellent alternative to alfredo sauce, and probably healthier since there is no butter added. This is a definite keeper!

Super easy, super tasty. the best part is your friends or family won't know how easy it is, because it tastes so amazing. U will be getting asked for the recipe for sure. : the only substitute i made was with light cream instead of heavy, only because I have friends who pretend to watch their weight. :

I used ground turkey instead of chicken and it was delicous. This dish is even better the next day as leftovers.
