very good but a little bland so we added some green onion and sea salt and a pinch of red pepper flakes kicked it right in!

Its great! Granted you will definitely have to strain your almond sauce cause a blender can't do everything but I loved the cheesy flavor. The idea to use chicken and peas was great! I may add some carrots too to mix things up and add more color to the dish.

My boyfriend and i tried this recipe because i cant have dairy. Once making this pasta it became a staple for us! It is so creamy and delicious, and it is definitely something we both crave.

Buy the blanched almonds? Not worth the time to blance yourself! Needs salt!

Super tasty and easy, using pretty stock ingredients making it convenient as well. I made a few of changes--I used walnuts b/c that's what I had on hand, and I didn't use the cream b/c I like to watch the calories, and unfortunately no basil or lemon zest b/c I didn't have any. lol. But despite all my modifications it was a great dish. I can only imagine how out of this world good it would've been had I followed the recipe exactly. Only 4 stars b/c I didn't actually follow the recipe the way it was meant to be. As for some of the comments about not using nuts...what's the point? That's what makes the recipe special!! =

It was delicious and easy. I do agree with one of the other reviews about the nuts. I liked them but others that tasted it found them weird. I would leave them out and add later for those that like them.

We tried this recipe last night and it was wonderful. We did add less cheese. The lemon zest was a great addition. We would definitely make this again. Maybe you did not blend it enough because my sauce was creamy.

Followed the recipe exactly and it was good, but would not make again. The taste was ok, but the texture with the almond was really weird and grainy.
