The sauce didn't reduce as much as I expected — hold off on adding the pasta water until you're sure the sauce is thick enough. I added a little flour to the sauce in the last few minutes over the stove to get it to thicken properly. I substituted diced mushrooms (royal trumpet and portabella for the peas, which I didn't have around/don't much like, and they soaked up the flavor well. The lemon and almond is certainly a different flavor combination — not sure how much I like it — but it's a good hearty dish that could feed a pretty large group easily.

I really did not like this dish. Giada is cute but her food is very average. She has only made 1 dish I liked.

This got mixed reviews from my family. If you don't like a lot of lemon or almond flavor, this isn't for you. It just had a very unique taste. I loved it, but others didn't.

If you a nutty flavor this is for you, however if you dont (like myself the recipe is still pretty good. The cheese and chicken add a different flavor so that your not focused on the almond sauce.

Absolutely delicious and filling. I added 2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice at the very end for an extra brightness. Also, I poached my chicken instead of using the rotisserie to save some $$$.

Very bland flavor and the texture was not at all appealing. Looked promising but failed to deliver on taste.

Very tasty. Wonderful combination of textures. I added some mushrooms and red pepper flakes which added to an already wonderful recipe. I am looking forward to lunch tomorrow.

My husband & I loved this pasta dish, it's very different to anything we've made/had before. I used a lime instead of a lemon. I also cooked my own chicken ***** in the oven & added that to the pasta instead of the rotisserie one. And I added a third of a white onion into the blended sauce for extra flavor. This recipe is simple to make & yum!
