I followed all the instructions to the letter but forgot to save 1/4 cup of the water from the cooked pasta. Since I sauteed the steaks in 1 tablespoon oil olive/butter mixture, it was a snap to deglaze the pan with 1/4 white wine and add the sauce to the salad. The salad came out great.

I made this dish for the first time tonite for a small dinner party and everyone raved. The arugula and balsamic flavors really complemented one another in the dish. I ended up using all of the dressing and have to say I found it a bit too oily. But, in order to keep that great balsamic flavor, I think I'll just cut down the oil next time, but still use all the dressing. I'll also probably double the amount of beef - there just didn't seem to be enough! But overall it was tasty and delicious and I'll definitely make it again.

This was SO easy!!I used beef and chicken in this. I also sauteed some cremini mushrooms after I cooked the steak and then topped it all off with some fresh parmesean.I'll definently be making this again! Thanks again Giada!

This was simple, fast and elegant. The taste was great. I used spinach, and it was awesome. My husband is a meat and potato guy and he even enjoyed this meal. This will definitely be a crowd pleaser. Thanks, Giada. Everything I've made from your show have been totally awesome. We love your recipes! :

The steak with herbs was great but both my husband and I didn't care for the dressing. I'm not big on balsamic so we thought it was just okay. I don't think I would make this again.
